johngreen537 Posted December 11, 2010 Share Posted December 11, 2010 Free play is quite common mate, you can tighten the joint up again, but i think you need a 'special' tool, or get the Honda guys to do it for you.Bumps and knocking noise though, have you checked the ARB bushes, they fall to peices very regularly! steveolkinevel Posted December 11, 2010 Author Share Posted December 11, 2010 now im inerested about tightening this nut or what ever it is, because i have been looking at some picks of the column and every thing looks pressed together with no adjustment. no its deffo not any bushes it sounds like the universal joint on the column knocking if you know what i mean (like an old fiesta). its doin my head right in now because if im driving on a straight bit of road i can move the wheel from left to right bout an inch each way with out the car actualy altering course!!! there is no play in the end of the rack or any of the bushes or joints, wheel bearings. cheers 1"£££$££"!!
