scottravenhill
sorry didnt realise you had eml on, thought it was just cutting out. yeah get it to a garage and plug it in mate or just wait till all the cold weather has finished coz sometimes you can get frost on sensors which can trigger engine management warnings etc.

vti_786
i'm having a similar issue, although no engine light, i'm pretty sure it's the distributor, do you think i can get away with changing the rotar arm? (should i do the cap also?)i can get a second hand, aparantly working, whoole distributor for about £35, should i go with that?where is the cheapest place to get a rotar arm and cap? johngreen537
Any motor factors mate!£35 is soooo cheap it's unreal! It's actually so cheap that I'd be put off thinking it was dodgey!Breaker generally want £125 -£175 dor a full dizzy, and on ebay the usually go for around the £100 mark!I'd definately change the arm first thoguh!
