acivic
Petrol £1.75 a ltr by the end of the year btw when I filled up the price was £1.27 a ltr & other day was same price, so I dont think its the price of fuel thats made my mpg low. Could the slave clutch cylinder have an effect on low mpg? Ive seen a few others have had clutch cylinder probs & Ive noticed low biting point on mine.I agree with civicturbo79. I guess all this doesnt really matter now, as its going to cost to much to keep on the road, just like others, Im just gonna have to get rid of my motor
oilburner
You guys are all missing the obvious solution!Buy a motorcycle! On my 1 litre bike my road tax is about 70 quid a year and I can fill it up for 20 quid and easily get 40mpg.Not bad for something that will do 0-60 in about 3 seconds and will do 170mph! oilburner
The main thing with lpg is that the conversion doesn't suit all engines and it depends what sort of condition your engine is in.Including conversion costs you'll need about a year of driving before you break even
