New toys bought at JapFest yesterday... The Mrs was with me so I couldn't go mad though :(

More carbon on display than you could shake a stick at, but I was forcebly denied access by her indoors!

BLUE (no red remained! :( ) 80mm SFS Intake Hose, for new silicone cold air feed :D

And sticker :D

This is now sitting beautifully above the radiator, taking RAM air direct through the Mugen grill :D

Nuespeed Short Shifter :D

Yes mate!

EP3 has a MASSIVE airbox, with a resonator built into it...

The intake starts RIGHT in the middle of the engine bay and has acrappy pipe taking air from around the passenger headlamp area, but still taking air from the engine bay!

Looks like this standard...

So, I did the 'hondata mod' which effectively means you gut the airbox till it looks like this:

CTR_EP3_Hondata_Mod_02.jpg

Then replace the standard air filter with a foam filter...

The standard pipe Sits underneath the intake pipe at the bottom of the 2nd pic, and runs to the passenger headlamp taking in air there, but it's still from the engine bay, with a marginal draught from the headlamp gaps.

Mine now runs direct from the bottom of the air box, to the gap between the radiator and slam panel, drawing in air THROUGH the grill, so the air is properly cold, and properly RAMMED :D

If that makes sense :D
