civicturbo79 Posted March 6, 2011 Share Posted March 6, 2011 If its a little over it will be ok they do hold just under 4 litres with a new filter anyway so its not that far off . im sure as all vtec's use some oil it will be down to the max line in no time , But if its really over full take it back and get them to take some out as it could damage the engine . johngreen537 Posted March 7, 2011 Share Posted March 7, 2011 X2 mate, if it's only just over the upper level, I wouldn't worry too much, if it's over by 5mm, I'd be taking it back!If they have put 4 litres in rather than 3.7 as the manual says, then that's almost 10% too much...
