King Posted April 21, 2011 Share Posted April 21, 2011 S80 gearbox (£350ish), will vastly improve acceleration, thus making the car quicker. i need to move to brum as everyone i found is between £400-£700 At MSK parts (big honda breaker) thats how much he sells them for. johngreen537 Posted April 24, 2011 Share Posted April 24, 2011 Y21 is the gearbox out of old EK / EG VTi mate, has much lower Final drive and 2nd gear ratio, so accelerates much faster!I've got a BMC CDA for sale at minute if you interested in that ECU reset, simply makes car relearn air fuel ratio and clears historical fault data. Take the backup fuse out of the engine bay fusebox, leave it out for an hour, then put it back in and go rag your car to bits in every gear!
