buckley353
I tried unplugging the o2 sensor rich but it made no difference. I've now changed the plugs, leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm and the coil but it is still the same. I'm wounded that i have spent all of that on it and its just as bad. It is almost undriveable now and i've had to take her off the road while i think what to do next. When you unpugged the o2 sensor rich did it run fine after when there was a problem? beaniexx
I got a feeling that when this happened on my MB6 it was the coil that needed replacing..x2 coils when they are failing play up more when under load
buckley353
I've swapped the coil today and its still the same, i'm thinking i have a fuel problem now but my fuel pressure gauge shows 55 psi so i'm puzzled. Going to take the injectors out tomorrow and check them too

civicturbo79
The ecu needs to read the info from the o2 sensor so unpluging it will make the engine play up just as much as with pluged in and being failty . like i said yesterday i did the same on my brothers on someone said to me the o2 sensor and at that point i was willing to try anything , as soon as the new one was fitted it was like a new car . see if you can get a video of what the car is doing , as you have spend money on things that have not sorted the problem a few more pounds now on a o2 sensor is neither here or there now . Rich.

buckley353
I was playing about with the injectors yesterday and it seems like i have a faulty one so i put it all back together after playing about with them and cleaning them up and it was a lot better so think i have found the problem now.
