I would also be interested in the outcome to this. I have Buddy Club EG ones on order which I was told was a straight fit. The arms in ones you have pictured are as Didjerdave says are off the EK. So far everything suspension I have bough for mine has been EG/DC2 and it's all gone on with no drama.

That's the same kit i bought. It was DC2/EG/MB/Del Sol fitment. Didn't fit my car . When you get yours, can you measure the distance marked on this picture:

buddycambervlimatka.jpg

It was 42mm on mine. Perhaps they sent me the wrong one? My mechanic told me it's 8mm too narrow, so i reckon the mc2 kit should be 50mm wide at this point.

It might be worth asking them to check the distance between bolt centres (~78mm) & the bushing width; if these are correct that arm should fit.

First i thought the 78mm you're talking about is the same area i pointed out in the picture, but then i realised it's not possible because it would make the whole arm absolutely huge. Can you do a similar picture where you show what you mean because you got me lost on this one?

Quick thought - From the instructions that came with the Energy suspension bush kit - are the bushes in the existing mount fitted the right way around? The Energy ones are handed.

They're Powerflex and the fitting was done by my mechanic, i sure do hope they're the right way round!

okay mate, will do. I got a call yesterday saying my arms were is so I will pick them up tonight and take some measurements.

Dexter - Just picked my kit up. I've measured both mount on both upper wishbones. Just to be sure, the kit I picked up is Buddy Club Part Number: BDC-EP1CBK-EG-F, Camber Kit Set (F), Honda EG/DC2

The upper wishbone you have shown in the picture (Right hand side), the dim you have marked is 45mm on mine. I asked about fitting them and was told for the Energy Suspension bushes it would be a tight fit, but the metal tube in the middle of the bush is the key dimension. As my new bushes are 60miles away I can't confirm this until the weekend.

My part code is BC-FCK-EG Front camber arm kit EG/DC2/Delsol. I just checked my measurements and didn't realize until now that they're different on both arms. On the arm marked R the gap is 42mm and on L 45mm and 46mm.

Seems very strange, is it supposed to be like that? I'd reckon they should be identical on both sides.

But anyhow i'm sending back my TSS kit today, they have assured me that they have a correct kit for me and now that i think about i remember reading on the net about a couple of finnish decks with a TSS kit fitted, i think i'll try to dig their contact info to ask some questions.

AHHH, I'm a twit.

178mm, not 78mm. Yeah, that typo would really confuse things!!!

My measurements were between the bolts on the mounting plate that has the blue bushes on in your photo.

The hardrace arm I'm looking at comes with the whole plate as a complete bushed unit, so bushing size & the exact width of the arm isn't an issue as long as the bolt centres are correct. Bushes should be the same width on either side - I wouldn't be concerned with 1mm difference at all, but 3mm is suprising. As you have poly bushes on that part which I guess has no inner metal tube, is there a chance the arm ends could have been squashed on installation by overtightening?

Forget about that crazyness, i just realised it's bent a few mm because of the attempted installation!

Also... just found a small tag on the side of the box that says: BDC-EP1CBK-EG-F, Camber Kit Set (F), Honda EG/DC2. So we've got the same kit, DeLaSoul.

Okay, all done and tightened up. Arms went on pretty quickly but comparing the Buddy Club arms to the original I didn't like the new ones all that much.Quality control on the adjustable ones could be better as the holes didn't line up when test fitting it all together so I had to leave all the bolts loose until every thing was back on the car. I think I will go for Skunk 2 if I had to do them on another car.

Except for the holes not lining up, how good was the fit? I really can't understand how the kit fits your MC but not mine... :( can it be because of the bushes?

Must be bushes, did you check that they weren't inserted the wrong way? They look wider on one side than the other. Wouldn't be a bad idea to replace them anyway IMO; I'm never putting polys on a road car again!

Hi,

Sorry for my short reply on the weekend, I sent it from my phone ;) Quick photo from the check fit, so its just as the old arms came off the car. As you can see there is a bit of a gap, which closed up as soon as I tightened the bolts.

I checked the new poly bushes, and the Energy Suspension were the same size as the originals and would be no issue. I'm really not sure why yours don't fit.

HTH
