johngreen537 Posted June 17, 2011 Share Posted June 17, 2011 You also need a compressor and an oven mate!Can't use your normal over either as the powder is slightly toxic, so you'll get ill if you eat from the same oven you bake the powder in! Any oven will do, but needs to be big enough for whatever you need to bake, so a rim, gonna need a decent size! Compressor's are cheap as chips, as are used ovens on fleabay! I'd take back to bare metal too! You need to be careful with some rims, scary stories circulate about powder coater rims cracking, something to do with the powder weakening the insides of the alloy.Just read up a bit first mate is my advice!
