Yesterday I thought it was over..was doing about 100mph and braked... my car wouldnt stop.. my foot litlerlly on the floor and the car was not stopping..pulled my hand brake to slow down...SCARY... it was slowing but not at the rate I wanted it to be.. i nealy shot of the round about traffic light....and its not like I wasnt braking long before the round about...but it just wouldnt stop...Pheww...

After tht I tried again just to check it.. doing about 70mph and hard braked.. it will slow down but it wont stop... the pedal was on the floor...it wasnt stoping...

Any idea guys...Pads have plenty of life and discs as well... and i have enough fluid in ther as well...

Am i right to think it can be the Brake Master cylinder...???

Sounds like the cylinder to me too!

If you sit in car with engine off, and pump the brakes hard, does the pedal go solid?

If it does, then you keep your foot on brake, turn on ignition, the pedal should move a bit, but still stay quite hard, if it drops to the floor, the master cylinder seals are gone.

PS, if it happens again, PUMP PUMP PUMP PUMP, don't keep your foot down on the floor! :)

Keep pumping the pedal!

i was too scared to let go.. i was coming in too quick... didnt wanna let go...

Ok this might sound very very wierd... but see if anyone has the same problem or have heard of the same problem ok...

"while taking corners if I have my foot on the brake pedal pushing down, it pushes back..not a lot...it kind of judders up" .. i know sounds very weird...but anyone came across this problem..??
