FlunkyVTEC Posted September 19, 2009 Share Posted September 19, 2009 If you want to spend that kind of money you might also want to consider boosting the B18C4. Although there are risks involved you will gain a lot of mid range performance and it will probably be lighter than an H22. There are a couple of guys here that have a turbo'd MB6. Although you can get a ukdm h22 for pence hasport mounts will cost you about £500 then you need hasport or other custom driveshafts (£mega bucks), adapt the shifter, as well as the usual swap stuff. Worth it if you want a project, but a lot of work for the end result.Lots of people turbo D's; have a look at http://www.d-series.org if you haven't found it already- loads of stuff on there. stubrun Posted September 23, 2009 Share Posted September 23, 2009 all motor all the way mate, b18c5 with s80 box, 4.7 final drive, filter, exhaust, manifold = bye bye h22!!this is a video of my brothers ek4 vti with a b16b conversion, 4.7 final drive, j's racing intake, spoon lsd, spoon n1 exhaust etc and this car use to smash corsa/astra turbos all day long, preludes had no chance either!!
