Got the civic on the dragstrip yesterday at straighliners (have a video, must put it up later)

Best run was 16.01 @87 mph - Did 8 runs altogether. Couldnt get out of the 16 second bracket.

Didnt think it was too bad considering the weight (and crap i had in the car) and running on ordinary unleaded and a backbox/airfilter.

Time to get the pennies saved for a few toys :D

Thats not a bad time at all for a deck if you go again get it all stripped out and get some super unleaded in . you should make a 15.7 .

Here is craigb from on here running a 15.3 in a mb6 vti with s80 box exhaust and filter and stunk 2 cams .

Definately going to strip it for the next drag event (its on the 17th of october). Hopefully this time it'll be dry as it was wet yeasterday.

Id love to head over to santa pod some stage, the strip looks to be in fantastic condition compared to over here.

I have a vtec controller in the civic, on my best run i had my vtec was coming in around 4400. What is supposed to be the "ideal" rev changeover?

Has anyone fitted the ebay manifolds to there car/honda before - like this one -

Or would it be better to go for this one??

I hate the fact that powerflow weld your exhaust sytem without any flanges, if i was to bring a 4 branch manifold to them could they put the 4 branch on, weld a flange for it and put the exhaust sytem on??

Powerflow will charge silly money to make the flange (quoted me £80!) so you are better off buying some flanges and taking them in.

Your first manifold should be good fit but the second one I noticed has a 2.5" flange to the cat, you may have troubles with mating it to cat as I did. My cat is now in the garage and a 2.5" resonator pipe is in it's place.
