KiNK43 Posted September 27, 2011 Share Posted September 27, 2011 if you take the door card off and peel back the plastic sheet. the bolts on the window mechanism come loose and fall out in the bottom of the door.if you catch it in time its all good just put the bolts in nice and tight. but usually the mechanism gets damaged, bent and loose once the bolts loose or fall out.this happened on a friends old MB. and started to happen on mine. i have fixed mine. but i get i slight clunk now if i wind window all the way down as mechanism now damaged.
