Cynabal
Like title said, I filled my reserve tank weekend before last now I just noticed its empty, i opened the radiator cap and fluid is at the top doesn't look low and I've not noticed any puddles under car, but it has been pretty crappy weather, should I just fill it up again and keep en eye on it? KiNK43
think its quite a common thing tbh. mine seems to disapear and other members have said the same..just top it up and keep an eye on it like you say. check obvious things like cream in your oil.and white smoke from exhaust if your concerned i suppose.. but sure its probably ok. Roylewaa
Well its lasting a week, but i dont get it, no mayo in oil, no white smoke, no overheating and plenty of coolant in rad? Wheres it going lol?I'd be looking at the expansion bottle itself for hairline cracks or small holes, I had the same problem but with a Mondeo, no leaks present when the car was stationary but vanishing coolant, turned out one of the coolant pipes (metal ones - thanks Ford) was corroded and only leaked when the car was being driven, or ticking over for a long period
bs_vti-s
i parked to tight and my bumper went over the top of a kerb and all coolant leaked from mine. filled it and it emptied very quickly. filled it again and havent had to top it up since. Project Civic
If there are no leaks, I would point to the head gasket.Project
Cynabal
I do have a slow leak where the pipe joins the bottom of the rad, still not sorted it yet as can't be bothered emptying all the coolant refilling and bleeding out the air locks.
