I covered them both with clear Lamin-X to try and protect them- even if they crack again hopefully it will hold the pieces together. The bracket holding the light was difficult to remove -had to use an angle grinder and drill (better than paying the extra £60 for a new bracket!) Dave Posted September 29, 2009 Share Posted September 29, 2009 yeah,theres actually 3 different types of fogs for the mb civics! theres the small, projector style vti ones, then theres the ones that came standard on some ES models (Dawn has them on her aerodeck ES)that are the same casing/size as the vti ones, but have a different style lens (these were also optional accessor fogs), then theres the big ones, which are around double the size of vti ones, maybe even bigger. These were also accessory optional extras.The blols on the brackets are a complete nightmare!!!! If you replace the fogs, make sure you protect the bolts/screws from rusting up again by using something on them to keep the crap off. (sylicone grease or something?
