hi all im searching for some of your wisdome :lol: i need to flatten/cut back my paint work (overspray and looks very flat) i know i wont get the deepest shine with a white paint job but i need to try something.... ive bought the above pads and will be using g3 cutting compound then g10 finishing compound what i need to know is

has anyone used these pads(any advice on usage would help)

and what wax will best for the solid paint finish

oe honda paint is very soft and thin so be carefull 3g is too abbrasive, start with the g10 and work up if needed

if the over spray is very bad you may need to sand it

how are you applying it

compound needs a machine to brake down fully .\> get the full efffect, if machining use notting els than a d/a maching (orbital)

less is more

for wax try simoniz or coolinite 476's they are touhy and shiny, but what do you want more >shine or durability

il be using a d/a bud and id say the bits that are rough feel a bit like a dusty surface

Those pads a designed for sanding blowins you will flat through with them on the standard paint mate , all you need to do is g3 the car with a mod and use loads of water that way it makes it alot harder to burn through . g3 will easily remove over spray and dirt no need to flat it . them mechine polish the car again with the mod and them a nice wax to finish. Rich.
