The brakes on my vtis are quite touchy. I didn't think much of it till I came on here and found out that the rear calipers have a habit of seizing up.

Also my handbrake is pathetic - I have to put it full on and even then it doesnt hold that well. Had it tightened up when it went for service last week but no better really.

Does this sound like rear calipers seized to you guys?

What do you mean by touchy? Have you checked your disks and pads? Also cables maybe stretched might need new ones

I hardly have to touch them - really sensitive. True its better than spongy maybe its just I'm not used to having good ones :) . Ill check discs and pads tomorrow. Was just looking thru and some of the descriptions sounded like what I've got.

Can you jack up car and spin rear wheel ,? The pads are ok ?

Ill try that too, saw that on one of the posts I looked at.

I'm gonna take it to a mechanic I know to do some work on it soon so I want to get it all done in one go, need to make sure I know what the problem is.

Have noticed some occasional pulling to the left as well...
