Hop78
Just installed a DC sports ceramic 4-2-1 and decat, the O2 sensor on the manifold has been moved to the end of the 2-1 branch in font of the decat, and the O2 sensor from the cat has been refitted in to the decat pipe. Was driving today and the eml came on, when I checked it on the code reader the error was for the cat working below the level it should (obviously with it now haveing a decat) does anyone know how to avoid this or is it something I will have to put up with?Cheers

simpo
Has the O2 sensor been moved from the mani? For example was it up near the 4 branch?
Hop78
Yeah as I said its been extended and moved from the from the manifold to the end of the 2-1 down pipe in front of the cat, does that sensor spacer just fit into the decat pipe, it's the first time I've seen them, cheers for the link mate
simpo
When I had an old civic I extended the O2 sensor and the eml light came on.
Hop78
The problem isn't the o2 sensor, the error is p0420 cat is working below efficiency (not cleaning the emissions so the O2 sensor thinks the cat is failing or failed)
