fyfie5
when i decatted my car the light came on so i got a sensor spacer off of ebay for like a 5er and it spaces the sensor away from the fast flowing gasses and the car thinks the cat is still on and the light went away have to say sometimes the light pops on but soon goes off again. Didjeridave
Sensor spacers are for dual sensor setups with a second sensor downstream of the cat. MB/Cs have one pre-cat sensor & use this in closed circuit to set the fuelling. A one sensor system 'has no idea' that a cat is fitted, the cat just reduces emissions whatever's chucked through it. An extender will exacerbate the incorrect reading problem.Best of luck with it
Chandler
cheers mate ye i've got one on the manifold as you would normally have, but its on the lower pipe where they join rather than just on 1 port. then obviously one on the Decat. will be hunting for a spacer tonight
