MG Suspension - what to buy

I work for a parts supplier, If I enter a registration number for an MG ZS 180 and buy myself shock absorbers, top mounts and coil springs will it all slot nicely onto my MB3? Do I need anything else?

Also wondering if there's any difference between the standard back box for MB3 and MB6

Thanks for the reply bud, the only other difference I could find is the MB6 back box was slightly heavier, makes sense!

Is the 120 suspension more suitable because of the weight of the 180 engine?

So guys just to recap before I order bits tomorrow, all I need is shocks and springs from any age of MG ZS 120 for a straight fit and a bit lower ride height

Thanks all

You need 180 shocks and 120 springs mate, the 120 shocks are no shorter and not uprated.

I don't think that's correct. Nothing wrong with getting zs180 shocks just to be sure but I've read a lot of topics in MG forums and the conclusions so far are:

ZS120 and ZS180 have both uprated and shorter shocks which should be the same. Example, don't have time now to search for more: http://forums.mg-rover.org/showpost.php?p=2769434&postcount=3

The only difference as MG forum users state are the front springs for the ZS180 to support the bigger engine and that's it.

ZS120 is as low as ZS180 so the shocks can't be longer.

I'm not 100% sure either but that's what I read.
