hickster
Hah! never knew that; good info! My old MA8 had a 90hp D14A2 engine so I guess the A5 is a restricted version for certain markets? Good way to choke up an engine! The D14A2 had great mpg, I assume both versions use the same gearbox- you should see an improvement.
EmZvr
Yes, Honda have some interesting methods to lower horsepower. A tiny hole for a throttle body eating up 15hp or for example the catifold in MB3 eating up 10hp p.s. Good luck SpYk3 !

marko
Can you not just buy one for a d14a2 then fit to your a5? Try your local motor factors, also try this reg my old MA8 , n473jmr

Roylewaa
I'd hazard a guess that it's a dealer only part:)
marko
I'd hazard a guess that it's a dealer only part:)No just guessing that people are searching intake gaskets, rather than searching for a throttle body gasket http://fullcartuning.com/honda-dichtung-drosselklappe-honda-del-sol-civicThere's one
