VTEye Posted November 9, 2013 Share Posted November 9, 2013 Anybody know if the ECU temperature sensor for a 1.6 VTI is the same as a MB6 one?. I thought they were all the same but i got one of ebay that said in the listing was for a 1.6, i fitted it but my Vtec stopped working. Cheers. VTEye Posted November 10, 2013 Author Share Posted November 10, 2013 Sorry noodels i should have been a bit clearer, vtec worked before, i fitted the new ECT sensor and straight away it didnt work, put the old one back in and vtec works again, its the sensor on the gearbox side of the head next to the temp gauge sender.
