EmZvr
I sold my D16Z6 gearbox to a friend of mine who drives D15Z6 engine in a Civic EK. Now the funny thing is first gear sounds like reverse. You know that whining sound. It sounds so funny like this Other than that there is no problems with the transmission. So I'm just curious why do you think it sounds like this ? KiNK43
Some of the gears have there own roller bearing. Likely when first gear is engaged and under load that bearing is worn. Not fact.. just a theory.Based on its likely bearing noise.. but shaft bearings would make noise in not just one gear.
Krzys
As Jake said, I'd guess at a bearing but it's strange it's only on first gear!
