Krzys
Would you go to the trouble of re-wiring with new wire when sticking in some better speakers? I'm talking a basic upgrade, not a super new fancy head unit/amp, just a basic £75 head unit upgrade.I wouldn't bother from what you've said, if you were going to run them from an amp then I say yes! Otherwise it's probably not worth the extra time, money and effort! You can always change it in the future if you decide that is what you want later on! casasteve
That's what I suspected Well, new head unit and maybe speakers are going on the list lol
Krzys
Good stuff! You'll notice the difference once the new headunit goes in! And again with the new speakers!
WilkesyMB6
I found even with a new headunit the standard fronts in mine were a lot better
Krzys
I found even with a new headunit the standard fronts in mine were a lot betterSame, that's how mine is at the minute! Will be changing the speakers at some point as I have some DB Audio components lying around, be rude not to!
casasteve
Right, well new head unit is on next months list I think. I'm looking for something in the £50 - £100 ball park that'll do blutooth, maybe DAB (not too bothered) and aux in.
Krzys
Should easily get a Bluetooth with USB and aux, DAB might be more but I wouldn't worry about having that.
casasteve
Nah, to be honest I don't think I've listened to a radio intentionally for about 10 years, so DAB is the bottom of the pile
Roj
It's right at the expensive side of your budget but I strongly suggest this: http://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/pioneer-dehx5600bt-cd-mp3-player-bluetooth-mixtrax-ipod-iphone-android-usb-stereo-p-59900.html#.UtLaw7SmUrk
Guest martin
Got some 4" speakers and they're too small for my mb3, my factory speakers were a 5.25"
