That bit that snaps off the inside door handle when you remove the door card...

Recommended Posts

The bit that attaches the rod to the handle. Where can I get one of these? Or has anyone got any ingenious fixes?

I've emailed Lings Honda Parts already, but I thought you guys might know.

The green one aye. At least it is on the drivers door. The passenger door is white I noticed (just to avoid any confusion!).

You can buy replacements for about £2.50 but what I seen done was the hook bent inwards from the bottom to secure it. Worked rather well.

Lings got back to me and they have them in stock for £3 or something. If any breakers on here can do them cheaper, let me know. Interesting about bending the rod round, never even thought of that.

at £3 odd quid, I'd find a use for the rest! lol

That's £300 quids worth at lings prices ..

Damn me that didn't see this topic, I've ended up bending the rod. Still does the trick ,though :)

Bending it works just as well mate, those clips were really fragile even when new.

Yeah I just bent the rod in the drivers door, better than putting the door card back on and having it fall off straight away if you don't have any spare clips! I did pick one up from the scrappy though so something to do next time.
