Nice one Moe!! ;) I have seen the third one before, but the one I saw was a bit dodgy looking, knowing my luck i would drop a collet or the valve through into the cylinder!!!! i still have my old kit for doing them on the CVH Ford engines.......!!!

Slosei, if you are gonna attempt it without taking the head off, make sure the piston is at TDC on the cylinder you are doing!!! Or you may drop the valve into the cylinder, then its head off anyway!! :lol:

Just to follow up on this and for info for anyone else

I have the same problem with burning oil - 10 litres in 5k miles to be exact lol

Parts ive ordered that will be fitted in 2 weeks time.

Head Kit which includes head/rocker cover and manifold gaskets, valve stem oils seals(the culpret), and a variety of all other seals and small gaskets.

Timing belt (may as well replace all belts this while the head is off)

A/C belt

Power steering belt

Altenator belt

Oil

Oil filter

Parts came to £200 approx

Looking forward to getting stuck in lol
