Fair play to you for keeping positive mate, it's not been easy. Hopefully it resolves the issues and you can begin to enjoy it. It's hard to keep motivated when things don't go right but keep at it as it can only improve the car.

Almost bought this a few months back. Its a cracking spec car mate hope you get the rear quarter and bumper sorted and will be mint!

I had a similar issue. got an oil change once and turned out the filter wasnt on properly. Thought it was weird no vtec etc after 15mins. And had smoke in rear view mirror. Was the oil hitting the exhaust lol. Good news about your m.o.t as mentioned before!
