Don't buy an eis one as the cap does not fit in them

How do I get the dome out for the remote central locking. I want to put it in another mb. The other one has a hawk kit fitted so will the dome still work or is the hawk kit going to interfere with it ?

Basically my door card is off and my door handle was just hanging there connected to a long metal bar that pulls which opens the door...... now my door handle will no longer hang there is it fell off..... I know that something has been lost or snapped.... I notice a green piece of plastic on the end of this bar... I believe a bit of this has broken off... am I correct. .... how can I rectify this ? As I am now stuck with the door card off and pulling the metal bar to get out of the car ? Cheers in advance guys

Ive took the door car off at the bottom of the door I notice two or three small drains. I notice when I wash the car the water rounds down the window into the inside of the door and out the bottom through these little drains. ... im guessing this is normal....

I'll take the door card off tomorrow and have a look inside I'll use some silicon round the windscreen

Ive found two leaks on in the top corner by the windscreen.... wet roof lining there. .... also waters coming through my drivers door speaker. Anyideas why this could be occuring

Weve had a lot of heavy rain lately here ive owned the car since September and it has been fine...... now I noticed that my drivers carpet is went and its not quite formed yet it doesnt have a sunrooof and the rest of the car appears to be dry. Any ideas where to start looking cheers in advance

Yea... they were plug and play in the end calibration is slightly more out than the ones I took out sat nav usually said 67 at 70 on the clocks ... with these it says 65 so nothing to worry about

it says here about recalibration... where can i do this properly if anyone knows i dont fancy moving the needles about maybe the scale of the numbers is going to cause an issue ?

ive found a thread on here that i couldnt reply to so i had to make a new one basically im getting a set of these clocks later and im wondering what i will need to do to recalibrate them so my speedo and revolutions are correct ? the milage on them is the same as my existing milage

Ive got another set of clocks I needed for srs bulb. After taking these apart and having a look at them it I can keep my econo light by swapping the little chip over that holds the bulbs for abs srs econo.. also the front panel that says srs econo abs is interchangeable and the odeometer behind the speedo appears to be interchangeable too

Clocking miles isnt illegal unless intended to decieve a buyer however my cars on 86k I dont want to put clocks in it that say its on 140k.. I've seen some with less miles on than I have on my current clocks however I dont think these are a good idea as I don't think id make up the milage difference between mots..... This is why I asked.... I dont want to half the value of my car and I don't want unverified milage either

Basically I'm thinking of sticking some in my mb3 but I am wondering if its gonna be at all possible to keep my econo light. .. maybe by using the bit out of my current clocks or something ? Also is there anyway of altering the milage back to my actual milage on my existing clocks ?? Also is it going to affect my rev counter or speedometer ? Thanks in advance peeps

well i didnt buy this.... he did have someone coming to look at it at 8.15 as at 8.21 he rung me to tell me he had just sold it... we we went to look at some others ... went to some garage should of been open at 10.30.... wasnt actually open at all, didnt even look like a garage..... contacted some other guy who told me to come back after 8pm .... so eventually after a 313 mile round trip we come home to wales empty handed to go and view a civic 39 miles away LOL.....anyway i am now a civic owner... but its not an mb its the three door ....ej or eg im not sure

ive found a civic sport on x reg 9k miles less fsh etc etc same price similar distance away... im going to print this out and take it with me and explain to him this is what im going to see in corby and maybe if his price was a bit more sensible i would go for his car on the grounds of cheaper insurance etc

when i rung him the otherday he seemed very keen and then sounded disapointed when i said that i am also viewing a car in corby. alrthough i told him that i would like to view this one as early as possible and he suggested 9 o clock... i rung him again earlier to double check he still has it etc and he said he has someone viewing at 8.15... i said i can be there for 8 if he wishes but he said stick with nine..... reckon hes playing tricks back to combat my trick playing ? He said he had a missed call of my number implying that he did not know the number... but then remembered i was going to corby after ..... in regard to the ep3s... i dont like them..... im now on the hunt for more cars round the northhampton area just incase

tommorow im going to look at a civic... ultimately buy it... the guy has it up for just under 1600 pounds its on 63k fsh .... very tidy looking from the photos.. however me and brother checked and he said its worth about 1400 trade ( it is a trade sale) ... how am i going to get the price down to around 1300 / 1400 ive never negotiated on price when purchasing a car before , so i dont know what lines to use to get the seller on my side etc ... hes probably already fixed the heater resisitors (lol) .. i think the only thing on my side here is the fact hes over priced it.. the fact its got a cassette player and the fact i have to do a 300 mile round trip to see it.... but ultimately he could just turn around and say well you new the price before you came. any advice on this would be much appreciated

put my job title as a factory worker... as i am one... put my brother on the proposed policy who actually is an electrical engineer. my brother took the insurance down more than my 54 yo father .... my brother took the quote down further than me deciding to buy a civic s instead of a civic sport did.... im going to view/ most likely by the car tommorow

my no claims has a two years shelf life with admiral and a broker who i have also checked with allows my no claims .... im happy with the 1200 quote i recieved... however i am getting a quote of 770 from quotemehappy.com.... any reason that this is coming back so cheap ?? to me it looks a bit suspect tbh
