  3. forgot to ask, have you got a link for your valve adjustment tool? that looks like it would mak life alot easier doind that job!
  4. awesomely clean MB mate, and the sx looks mean as hell too! keep up the good work.
  5. I was looking through your photo's, given me the confidence to do mine once my second bulb holder arrives! 1"£££$££"!! it really is quite somple once you have got the light inits out and you can see the wiring colours and where they go etc... also this way you dont hav to buy a red bulb to go in the reverse light, altho either way is cool in my opinion. just go for it mate!
  6. 3rd brake light still there per first picture, last pic just shows fog and sidelights onand no brake lights. each to their own fella but i love it!
  7. right guys, as the title now says, i have taken some more pics of my JDM lights working brake lights as normal JDM y0 side lights fog lights on (top lights brighter if pic is a bit rubbish) finally done, very cool mod!! next mod is some Honda Jazz washer jets...not paying £24 for them tho! cheers Dom
  8. robbed them from a breakers. literally just cut off the holders i wanted. most the ones on ebay are the whole light cluster loom, and they want like a tenner per side!
  9. right guys, as the title suggests, i have started the JDMing of my rear lights. i didnt finish it because i havent got any bulbs from work yet!, plus my camera battery ran out so havent got all the final pics. but this is how i did it. i found it surprisingly easy once i got stuck in and could physically see all the wires and what i needed to do to them all! so this is the back of the N/S rear cluster, and you can see the blanked off hole for the new bulb holder after drilling some holes around the outline of the hole, i was surprised to find that the whole thing pulled out with a pair of pliers and left the hole in perfect condition for the bulb holder to fit so this is the back of the O/S light, and you can see the brown holder which is the fog light bulb. removed the fog light holder, and installed my new bulb holder in its place, and as in 1.8vti`s second revision JDM light sticky thread, i spliced the orginal red/white fog light wire into my new green/white wire on the new bulb holder (this is now the new fog light). then all i did was splice the black wire to black wire (earth) and red wire to red wire (side light) the N/S is basically the same, red to red, black to black....this time tho i ran a wire from the green/white wire on my new bulb holder, through a gap in the rear panel, under the rear bumper to the other side, and spliced it into the green/white wire on the other side of the car. my top tip tho, make sure you get as much length on the new bulb holders as possible!! i cant show the results yet as i havent got the bulbs yet, but once i have i will get some more pics of the install and the finished light setup. so until next time.... Dom
  10. will do Paul, i am gonna TRY as well lol! am gonna do it like the second version but with 2 foglights (that s the idea anyway!!)
  11. they are for front or rear bumpers Andrew, but they are black. wanted to keep it looking original http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270855597149? ... 1438.l2649 this is them i dont really like the fron H red to be honest, like it more stealthy! gonna do the rear H and chrome garnish bit too, and debadge the back
  12. yeah, that does seem to be a bit of an after thought on hondas part for that!
  13. all my others are to Jon, just not got round to getting these until the other day! they do make a huge difference
  14. right guys, been able to do a little bit to the motor the last couple of days. first up o decided to paint my front grill, was gonna just paint the outer chrome of the grille, but ended up doing the H too. i washed the slates in the bath with some soapy water, and figured that was good enough not to paint as well before dis assembled first of a couple coats of high build primer then all painted and the slates and metal bracket thing washed and all back together looking lovely also got these through the post today YAY! some new bumper clips....most of mine are either broke or not there! and some new side repeater silvertec bulbs....ones fitted to my car at the mo are more white than orange! PLUS, managed to get myself some twin filament bulb holders to do some JDM YO`ing on my rear lights. will post pics of this up once done. cheers guys all comments welcome as usual Dom

  18. haha i wont tell anyone to shut up if they have an idea on somtehing mate! i guess it could be a possibility, im not sure if it has had a screen in it at all. i was gonna get the interior out next week and see if i can trace any water marks, then clean out under the scuttle.
  19. loving the car mate, great start. just out of curiosity, do you reckon those wind deflectors will fit my MC? also, those wheels will look sex in that colour on your car! then get it lowered!!!
  20. cheers Lewis. i got the nuts off a guy doing a good deal on the Honda Civic Forum website. i havent fitted them yet because they wont fit on the standard wheels very well (even tho he said they would!), but Tegiwa do some washers that allow the fitment of them onto OE honda wheels
