All good, 96 spec dc2 wheels?
Yeah I think they are mate. Been so long since I've looked at them though I'm not sure!! Can't even remember if they're 15's or 16's!!
-
Sounds like a good plan you have!
I have an image on how I want her to look. Subtle and clean. With minor bodywork enhancements.. But a sleeper look too, once I have the time to transfer over the engine goodies
-
De chrome. De silver. Black the lot out. New back or grey wheels. Win.
Will most definitely be de-chroming the exterior. Probably the only part I really don't like.
Have a set of black multi spoke dc2 esq wheels that I need to get the tyres changed over on.

So due to the crappy weather nothing done today. Although when the kiddies have gone to bed, I do intend on getting the induction pipe off my civic and rubbing it down ready for a paint. Currently chrome which isn't in keeping with how I want this engine bay to look.
Thinking a minimal visual impact look. Won't be able to keep it lookin OEM but close. Don't want to go red or blue so will stick with the black and silver theme.
Have a tin of satin black which will be used on the intake and it's a dark red cone which will probably be the only stand out colour. Everything else will be cleaned and where necessary re coated.
Opinions?? Am I being old and boring?? Ha.

I have started window tinting. Done the quarter panels. They look ok for the first try but still some bubbles left. I will try again hopefully with better results then it will be rear windows next and finally rear screen
So ho long does the good stuff take to come? Looking forward to the stickers
Fair play mate. How did you find cutting it out?? And did you use a heat gun to size in the curves??

Well to avoid a monopoly, I will offer a 3 years olds nappies at 89p + p&p

Tim exactly the same mate. Drives me f***ing potty people coming too close to my car. Will be even worse now that've have a black one.
And leaning in it!?! He'd of got a rude awakening!!
-
Never heard of the peanut butter trick before, sounds interesting but along these lines^^ has anybody tried s**t? I mean it's free, so why not? Also it would keep undesirables away from your car.
Not just the undesirables. Would keep everyone away from the car!! Ha.

i love domokun i have one in car under ash tray and one hanging off back off car
Think I might have to jump on this band wagon. They look great!
-
No mate. I was only eBay in gazebos last night. Having withdrawal symptoms need to get some of these parts cluttering up my house fitted!!
Either that or I might get round to finally building a car port

Looks like a great list for the new year mate!!
Although I bet that that is only the beginning !!

You disgust me
Hahaha
So was hoping to get out and put my short arm induction kit on this morning. Shock, it's poring with rain. Would it be ridiculous to get the gazebo out!?!
-
Great way to start the new year mate
-
Apart from the occasional flock of seagulls knawing at your roof rails it's good.
Or the random foxes knawing on the trims! Ha
-
Get some more pics up mate lets see what I av missed out on lol! Did you knock him
Down abit?
Will get some more up tomorrow matey. Will make sure I get out there early enough so I don't loose the light!
No didn't knock him down any .. Was as he described it and was cleaner than I thought it would be so was happy happy
Wow looks great mate. So tidy under the hood too.
Don't laugh but I always use smooth peanut butter on the black plastics.
Works great and lasts ages too. And @ £1.30 a tub will last longer than its use by date!
Unless you get peckish while your cleaning.
Cheers mate. She's certainly a clean one
Well that's definitely a new one!! Haha can see the theory behind it though. Suppose it's the oil base in it.
May give it a go and put up some picks!! Ha

she came up nice and clean and she looks like a nice tidy deck mate from your pics, you must be well chuffed .
Look forward to checking back on your progress as i love a deck and this looks like a good one...
Yes I am mate
Can't wait to give her a proper clean... Clay Polish & waxing.
