10500 or 105000?

When you changed the gearstick gaitor can you just unclip the surround somewhere or does the whole centre console have to be moved?
when you change the gaitor, the plastic bit around the gear stick can be removed it is held in by 2 metal clips, you pull on it from closest to the centre console, i used some knives on the sides to pry it out its pretty easy and just take your time
Cheers dude! Was hoping it wasn't going to be a ballache!
I do like what you've done so far though!
I was going to use the same idea as you for gaitor and knob, just confirms how it'll look, want a short shifter too though

Been there and done that having owned a turbo and came back to a VTEC, I'll say no more!
-
Think this should have gone in the "How to" section but top notch info none the less!

I may have found a solution! Found on the bay the airbag reel that lines up with the wheel I've got! Will know in a few days when it turns up and I'll update once I've had chance to fettle with it!

Mine is always on the blue setting, love the fresh air feel inside the car even on a winters day
booger that you mad
Mines the same

Right guys, I got myself an ATR momo steering wheel with the airbag, decent price too!
Problem is when I went to fit, the backplate with the holes for the SRS and steering shaft splines didn't line up!
Here is a picture of the backplate and the SRS reel in it's central position to show the problem!
Now I really would prefer not to run without an airbag because it would just be hassle come MOT time!
Not to mention the potential safety implications in the event of an accident!
Ideas?

Good result, 166bhp pretty good for the low miles, needs more use to loosen her up a bit.
X2 good result put some vpower in next time!
Cheers guys, I've put half a tank of Tesco99 in to see how she reacts, is it any different to Vpower? Both are easy enough to fill up with though!

Took a visit to DynoDaze Wednesday evening and couldn't help but stick her on the rollers!
Couple of photo's and three videos, calibration run, power run looking at the car and second power run looking at the monitor!
Two of the pictures were pinched from the DynoDaze facebook page!
Enjoy!
Becca got more attention than I was expecting when I pulled up! Really happy to see people interested!
She made 166bhp which I'm not disappointed about, I am using regular 95RON fuel and there's only the filter and Cat-back exhaust on her, was recommended to run her on Vpower for a power gain but I have some engine mods planned for the future too!

Mine come from the plastic speaker bit, when weight is on it a make a right noise!
Told you!!!
What did you do to cure it? Or haven't you?

Excellent! Bookmarked!

Only prob there is using wrong spring F/R IE:progresive type front springs and linear type rear springs and so
not recomended
Yeah I would try and match all four if I were you mate!
With the fronts being different to the rear the cars handling could be unpredicable!

Thst track is getting on a bit now!
1993 Nearly 20 years old now
Really? Christ I still think the 90's was like 5 minutes ago!
On topic: Yes there is a transponder in the key, not sure how much to get a new one programmed, worth asking a locksmiths! Before you go buying any new blank keys!

since having my zs suspension fitted i have a squeak from the back, might check everything around the boot/speakers for looseness!
I'm hoping to do my JDM tail light mod at the weekend so be a good opportunity to kill two birds with one stone I reckon! If I have to put up with Jeff (A female friend of mine named the squeak!) much longer I will end up like
It's because you only have 25k on the clock, if it was 125k there would be no squeek
I was on my way to DynoDaze last night and hired my rear seat passenger to investigate, if he puts his hand on the right speaker cover next to the parcel shelf it's silent! So I reckon it's the speaker cover! Now where's that ?
-
wow we having a mini meet then?
I'm game, will even go on the rollers too if funds allow!
-
Glad I could help!
On my old car one filament had gone and crossed over to the other, so I had both tail lights on as normal, pressed the break and one side went out while the other worked as normal!

As above, nice and clean! I'm surprised how well those wheels look!
Looks bare without any lip on the front though!

Sounds like as good a place as any to start, easy to remove too (He says!)
The stiffer ZS180 suspension amplifies it

they deffinately improve the free flowing acceleration IMO and just feels to pull and tick over a lot stronger running these two things together maybe a better way to put it is less restricted?
i am confident their will be atleast 2bhp behind that change which all adds up when your at those red lights mate
Its going on the dyno in the next 2 weeks so we will know soon mate!
Let me know when you're booked in, I'd like to come see this!

Where in Nottingham are you mate for some Chav Tw*t to do that to you car?
looking at the pics trying to figure out but cant pin point it dont even recognise the sainsburys car park gonna guess erm Arnold?
Castle Marina Sainsburys for those pictures, at the time the car was done, she on a side street off Edwards lane, refuse to leave her in the same place again!

It's been a while but I finally got round to having a look in the back, while doing a tip run with my mate yesterday I had the parcel shelf removed and the back seats down, still there!
I think it could be in the C pillar trim or rear speaker area? Any common squeakers around that area?
One weekend I'll end up stripping the interior out to find it!
Silver slug 28/2/13 skip to pg 10!
