  1. i havent used them myself but i dont like ebay brakes are the pads some company sent me were naff and keep depositing lining onto the disc causing hot spots which in turn cause vibrating but thats just me
  2. thanks man i didnt and everything is sorted now
  3. hi mate good luck with the dc2 set up, as ive not got expeierence with the zs set up I wouldn't know I recntly got te koni set up off James the car sits lower at the front but honestly putting more weight over the front on a front drive car the grip is much better and the steering is super responsive on tr1 tyres under steer is almost non existent around most corners due to grip less roll plus the slippy diff helps work what u got with the create the best set up for your driving style but for me I love the koni set up let me know how it all goes and good luck mate
  4. thanks mate about the car there are one or two minor things to sort out over the coming months like the vtis kit and either another pirate black bonnet or 3d carbon wrapping is as the lacquer is starting to peel off so those things are a possibility, only thing is im a realist and not a pretender so i dont want people to think its a vtis with the kit when it isnt even tho i love the lip kit i dont know if i should ruin the orginonality ( even tho its lower louder and stealthier ) trouble is finding the lip kit for a reasonable price in good nick as you can see from the 2nd picture there is paint missing on the splitter as for the read arb i was going to get the zs180 anyways just thought if the front was the same i could of nicked that but as its not then not to matter, uprated strut brace may just do the trick as for the mud flaps krzys i like them on may need re colouring but i dunno weither to get rid of them or not :S there definately gunna help keep it cleaner in these upcoming winter months
  5. Yeah let's hope the back settles a bit as would like it a little lower so theres not much of a difference between the two but I am impressed with the handling compared to how I had it standard lol I think im comparing the mb6 too much to my eg on meister r zeta s setup but definately pleased with results mtight think of the zs arb in the near future is the front arb same as the rear??

  7. here as promised are the before and after photos of the suspension upgrade and also my friends way of removing a suspension strut with a sezied bolt in before after and last but not least the method of destrustion
  8. right I'll remember this will upload piccys as soon as possible I just can't help but drive it at the moment I'm so happy with it apart from scrapping my splitte over bumps but it means it's low enough
  9. hmm I know I actually really like the handling as it is now plus a new wheel bearing its alot easier to drive and brake ha ha just I'm not sure on a nose low car im sure I'll get used to it James and I will get photos of the car how it sits now I am impressed with the height it's just right do I hve to se photo bucket on this as a URL to a photo? or can I upload straight to here? will do tonight when I arrive home from work
  10. so after my long ordeal with various problems I've managed to get the girl lowered koni shocks and springs purchased from James on here and I hve to say im overwhelmed at the results sits noticeably lower and firmer but still as comfy as standar almost good news is only one bolt snapped the angle grinder sorted the other one out by grinding away at the old bottom mount on the shock and simply bending away from the lca - would recommend this method if you have an angle grinder on tap as its a completely less effort and time consuming way of removing the damaged article if new shocks are going on will get pics on what I did whn I return home tonight if anyone's interested on this method I am over joyful now on the lower stance it's made enough improvements to the handling to wet my pants let me know if there are any ways to drop the back a bit more so the car sits a bit more level tho
  11. Forgot to mention.. What torque the wheel nut should be
  12. Simple question as i may need to replace this, anyone know the preload on the mb6 for a front wheel bearing and how tight the lug nut should be on the hub when fitting a new bearing??
  13. yeah I'm just getting a double opinion from my friend about my wheel bearings or hub or whatever to see if it cures all my problems as my and light isn't constantly on so could just be play in something
  14. Update on the whole ordeal :/ recently discovered some play in my front bearings drivers side more than passengers not sure if its a loose joint or steering rack play but it would kinda explain some wheel wobble and vibrations under braking :/ any suggestions if I'm making sense lol
  15. yeah i know could possibly be something to do with it, its all getting a bit much atm on a shoe string budget lol and now the abs light keeps flashing on and off ( mostly stays on) but my friends do that all the time probs just a wheel sensor needs cleaning but ill have a look at these hubs
  16. thing is the standard discs when new started to vibrate after the previous owner bedded them in, didnt trust that so i changed to drilled and grooved, 1 set (550+ miles of bedding in properly) started to vibrate, so got a new set ordered out, exactly the same thing happens again and each time im softer on the pedal to let them bed in without hastle but keeps doing it so i physically have no idea and the shops ive tried wont touch drilled and grooved. maybe reverting back to standards and give them another shot?

  18. thanks guys my ones went on a treat only got the accord 15's as its going to be looooooowwwww
  19. yeah that could be the case but Honda have a 1 month waiting list as direct parts from Japan but I need to test if they are warped first :/
  20. The last ones ran out at .2 which is above the service limit , only thing is they do it 80 percent of the time only when warm and don't vibrate below 40 mph I'm stumped now my local Honda master tech said hubs could be warped and in turn forcing the discs to continually warp :/ is this Bull cr*p or what I'm losing the will on this thing I cant keep affording new parts left right and centre
  21. No no I've I checked And the front are causing the movement on the pads I can rock the pads in between the small metal shims the ones that the pad sits into the top and bottom (not the anti squeal) but I don't think I have them :/ I can't see if I do or not
  22. Right here's the deal when I bought my car the previous owner told me that he put a new set of discs and pads on 3 months previous, I found them to be vibrating so I purchased drilled and grooved, bedded them in for well over 500 miles seemed fine, they started warping so I moaned and got another set sent out, and dactyl the same thing has happened even though, I was even more careful with bedding them in... Help!!! Honda say it might be hub wattage causing in turn the brakes or they might be crap discs :/ My pad shims are loose causing the pads to move about would this contribute to it? I'm loosing paitence now can anyone shed some light please
  23. well hopefully I'll have no worries then he he
  24. I'm waiting on fitting accord wheels to my mb6 but I havent got a clue as if I need 5mm spacers or not as accord offset is et45 and I have no clue how this system works lol can someone help me please so I can order them or not
  25. as did i think that the itr and mb6 had exactly same pads and calipers :S could be wrong but my friends itr and my mb's set up there is like nooooo difference
