Oh and why s2000 MC with spacer ?
Used when doing a wire tuck as the reservoir is part of the MC. Plus has a better pedal feel

sad times. What brought about the decission to break her mate? she's a stunning deck.
Yeah it is mate, the main reason being lack of use and on closer inspection there is slight rust on inner arches (can't sell it on like that) nothing major but would not get nowhere near what I have in her.

Been a while since I have updated the thread, only done a few small changes.
After fitting the extended wheel studs I bought some hubcentric spacers to pull the wheels out.
Dont have any other pics yet but you can see the wheels are sat flush with the arches now.
Also replaced the grill bezel with a carbon dipped one.
Had the windows retinted and got a set of climair wind deflectors which are so much better than team hekos.
I will upload some more pics later today.

Thanks for the input. Been looking at the velocity stacks but haven't really made up my mind what i think about them... but you got me interested, time to do some more research i think!
How do you tell the difference between an old style Skunk2 IM and a new one, is it a different model? I've been looking at the Pro series.
Yeah the pro series is the old version and the new version is skunk2 ultra street.
I didn't want to loose the vtec noise the whale intake makes so bought a 4" Blox velocity stack and filter kit. The new Blox filter is monstrous.

I've got dc2 intake and throttle body, but still got the c4 manifold. I'm wary about changing it for the fear of loss of low end grunt. Think that when I get around to the intake mani I'll get a c4 one ported.
Probably unrelated, but looking into tuning the wifes k24 (just research you understand...), there's a small gain top end for changing to the type r intake mani, but a loss in usable torque across most of the range.
https://www.hondata.com/tuning_k24a2_tsx_engine.html
Its funny you mention that, I have read it quite a lot with regards to loosing low end but I have no way experienced any loss low down. Many of my customers have also said the same.
I wouldn't waste money on getting the stock manifold ported. The problem for power/flow is in the design.

Just a whale intake will be of no benefit due to heat soak
Intake kit wise I Currently have a whale intake with a Blox 4" velocity stack and 6" filter with a direct cold air feed fitted to my aerodeck.
Throttle body I would go for 68mm or 70mm. I have a 70mm fitted.
Intake manifold I would have the new style skunk2 intake manifold over the performer x. I changed from old skunk2 to new style and you could feel the difference in midrange/topend.

Nah havent had the time cheers lad any idea the part number or know anywhere i could find them?
I would recommend the following Honda part number 52385-ST3-G01.
That is the part number for aerodeck RTA bushings which are slightly stiffer and better than regular civic/itr bushings which are 52385-SR3-000.

Problem sounds like one of you auxiliary belts is a little on the loose side and needs a little more tension.
The above pic is 1 row of fins from the bottom of the AC condenser. Nothing to be worried about they sag and fall off with age
