At least you have it sorted now, I would go with a 70mm TB.
Bet it had been a long day when you installed the manifold.

Was it not a skunk2 intake you were using before? Just an old Pro version? Or was it from the b16?
Looking forward to vids !!
i had a pro series on the b18c4 engine. The B18c had the standard type R intake.
Thanks

Holy mother there are some tasty bits there!
That new skunk2 inlet design is gorgeuous!!
Whats the thought behind the different trumpet design over the old one? And more importantly, what does it feel like ??
The engine response has totally changed. With the stock intake it was lazy from idle to around 3k then it shoots up to 8k and felt a little lazy again. This new intake though is so responsive it is unreal, the revs want to carry on past 8.8k which is what the limiter is set to.
I thought it would be the whale intake causing the laziness due to the chamber design, but this new intake has got rid of that totally.
Will get some videos up soon.

Not updated this in a while, still not really done anything with the spoiler yet, not really had time. I have been spending though.
Bits i have bought
Skunk2 ultra street intake manifold
skunk2 alpha 70mm throttle body
skunk2 thermal gaskets
Moroso baffled oil pan
K-tuned 410cc injectors
K- tuned adjustable short shifter
I have also sprayed the throttle body black and managed to fit the new flaked rocker cover and intake
First impressions of the intake "RAW".
More updates very soon

Beautiful rocker over dude! How does normal paint hold up against the heat?
Thanks
To be fair, once it's cured it holds up really well. My previous yellow one was done in the same way and I had that on for more than a year, and it's still fine.

It's used for signs and printing exhibition displays.
The wife works at a printers, but they use some other stuff but didn't sound as good.
It will be the same stuff just a different brand. I am also getting it from the local sign makers

I have a broadway too, viewing angles are so much better.

What the fricking hell is that!?!? Lol
Lol
Dibond is a relatively lightweight, yet very rigid aluminium composite material, consisting of a polyethylene core and aluminium cover sheets.
-
Yeah looks lovely Naz.
What materials have you ordered for the spoiler?
I have ordered 3mm dibond and some urethane foam to make it 3d looking instead of just a sheet.
Should be here next week.

Rocker cover looks nice mate! Great finish on it... You get it done by a pro or yourself with rattles??
Very interested to see how this spoiler turns out
Cheers mate, did it myself with a spray gun. You can never really get 1k lacquer to shine so thought I may as we'll try it in 2k and see what it's like. Very pleased with the finish.

ye i know man :/ nearly finished my engine bay at the minute for this years season and i've got a massive list again for what i want to do through the winter :/
also anymore updates??
No updates yet just been really busy with supplying new performance parts and shipping them out.I have ordered the material for the rear spoiler just waiting for that to arrive then I will crack on with that.
I have changed my rocker cover again, will upload pics later on.

Its not coolant is it?
I, drivers side front possibly coolant, A/C gas is greenish/yellow too but that would leak on the passenger side.
Keep an eye on it bro.

There brighter than standard M headlights lol
+1 on that mate, it's like having hids fitted to the rear, I only have one and it lights the full drive up.

Looks the biz, liking the purple and gold combo.
It's a lot of messing around doing the wire tuck but once complete, it's all worth it.

Looks real good grant, rocker and pipe looks fresh

its quite awkward mate. obviously i had to extand all the wires. i did it on the cheap as i could get all my wire from work, but to buy the wire is quite expensive.
plus it is quite a lot of wire to run through the car itself, let alone tuck it out the way. i stripped out the back anyway so its a little easier to hide everything
Looks good dude, you take any engine bay pics of the finished article.
What's the battery like for you so far?

Struth thats a lot of excess spending !!!>>>>>>>>the golf clubs &shoes i mean
forgot the R head on the b18c4 will lower compression btw
picked my sk2 tuner 1 up s/hand jammie also was a place doing them new for £350 ages ago iirc
DC2 rack are they really quicker ? would like a go in one to see,Am sure they must be !!! as MBs are very slow steering.
l gave up on the Moates2 and sold it,as my skills with PCs are not up to it
think the wideband i have will be going on though to see the AFR
£1200 was a bit low though Jammie !!
only kidding peeps
ps thanks for the complement
Itr steering rack makes a massive difference, it makes the car feel like a go kart very quick turn in.
-
yes mate, almost finished what i was doing on the car, now i wana do something else!!
I know that feeling very well lol, its never ending.
