I would say try to wrap it first and see how it looks if you don't like it you can always take it off and spray instead

For rocker cover I will get the hycote vht Blue spray I think it shouldn't be too much different from the caliper spray I got but you are right shouldn't be having too many different shades in there -

Yeah that's what I am also thinking mate. Would that caliper spray be ok for this as I got some left? -
It's always hard to let go of a car you have worked hard on. Surely you will find a nice replacement. Have a look at this one on Gumtree http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/honda-civic-18vti-mb6-1998/1037722664

The alloys won't be going on as yet as I will refurbish them properly. The previous owner didn't do a proper job and there is paint flaking. So first step I will strip them down to bare metal and then fresh primer and spray -
Looks nice mate...take some more day time pics

Thanks guys for liking the alloys. I was trying to take them off the other day to put the old ones back on for now. 3 of them came off easily but the driver's side rear one got stuck on the drums centre bit.I tried pulling as much as I could but just won't come off.it only came off when I drove to the tyre shop and he took it off but he told me the centre of alloy is too big and I need the rings that go in the middle. I think he means spigot rings. Just need to figure out which ones to get. -

Thanks a lot mate yeah I loved how prominent they made the blue calipers look. I will refurbish them myself as the previous owner didn't do a good job and the paint is flaking off -

Thanks Tom. I know I was really looking forward to having them fitted it was disappointing when they didn't fit I don't think there are any spigot rings already there Jake but I will have another look to make sure of that. -

195/50/15 is definitely the tyre size I will be going for as all I have heard is good about that size. I don't understand what machined out means.if they are 54mm and I need 56.1mm can that be resolved using spigot rings? Also the front seem to settle in properly in place but rear were not in place. As I stated earlier the tyres were different sizes in front and rear. Front were 185/55/15 and rear were 205/50/15 you think that is creating the problem? -

Thanks for liking her mate. My Mrs had a look while I drove past her and she said it's the rear making noise and it feels like they are not in place properly they are moving that's why they are making rubbing noise -

I did try the alloys on today..love how they look but there was a problem. The rear alloys are not setting in properly. I tried to tight the bolts as much as I could but every time I would drive the rear ones are making a loud noise line they are not on properly. I have taken them off for now might take them to the tyre shop tomorrow.don't know what's wrong with them :-$ Sits nicely on them as well -

To be honest with you the main reason I got 15 inch alloys is after reading a lot of people here saying the best handling is with 15 inch alloys so that's comforting to hear from you also -
