Pulled off my number plate to fit my new ones and is it me or does it look like i am missing some trim? I might not be and just being an idiot but I can't imagine Honda would have fitted the plates with two drilled holes... and it looks like someone tried to drill another on the right hand side ??

Hi guys. Posted this on the facebook page a few days back and someone gave a suggestions of maybe the gear stick was hitting the exhaust ? Anyone else have any ideas what it might be or how i might fix it? Also, the gearstick feels super sloppy in gear, can move it about like its in neutral! Someone said that the linkage is loose? Will this be an easy fix? Any advice appreciated as always

Not sure if this is bodywork or electrical but i've posted it here! My drivers window doesnt seem to shut properly If i open the window all the way down and then put it back up, it sort of comes of the window channel rubber. You can see where kind of in the picture how the rubber is out of shape. Is this a simple adjust glass placement on the runners or whatever and done or will it need new rubbers and all ??

Hi guys. So I just fitted a standard wheel to my mc2 for the MOT as it had an aftermarket wheel when I bought it (branded personal but unsure of authenticity). Said wheel is quite worn and im thinking of changing it. Does anyone have an eBay £20 wheel? Are they likely to be like the fake Chinese ones that bend and brake if you give them a vicious throttling?

Fingers crosses these tyres up Thursday so I can make it in time for a free partial retest! May look back into this into the summer when I'm not slacking and pressed for time but I don't think the 16s will go on with out an arch roll and I don't have the time for that and don't want to be spending the money on it either really. Might just sell the alloys even and try find some others. Stupid Honda and their high ET hubs!

Will 195/45 resolve this. I've literally given up and am about to buy some tyres for the standard alloys instead

Just been out and test fitted the alloys. Does anyone know for certain then center bore on the mc2 because with my crude fabric measuring tape I made by the original and after market alloy 66mm?? Anyways, the test fit. 16x7j H2 ( does anyone know what the H2 means) with 205/55/16 tyres on and I didn't dare lower the car off the jack as the poke seems like it was sit the arch on the tyre

I'm low enough to scrap the exhuast on every speed bump I go near! So I really nees to get these tyres ordered tonight. I'm think 195/45/16 as there's plenty of tyre options at this size. Any reason why I should go for a different size?

I thought the same but from the isofix car capatability list I have with the isofix base it says Honda civic 2000 onwards and someone has had them in advert for their aerodeck..

Dies anyone have the isofix anchors in their mc2? Been searching around and find one old advert for an aerodeck that had them but can't find anything else? I can buy the britax isofix mounting kit for the wife's focus but can't find anything for Honda?

That's the ones. I know they do! my others are oz volcanos sprayed black on the lip and gold on the spokes. And I'm really running out of time to make my mind up before my free MOT retest runs out!

No idea, I don't really wonna get mega budgets but they will have to be cheap ones. I did consider just keep standards for now but finding nice 4x114 alloys is quite hard and the 15s I'm looking at are 250 with tyres which is about 100 more then just buying 4 tyres if buying t1rs. And saving is gonna hard as my little one is due in a few months !

Fair point. If the test fit of the 16s is a success I'll get tyres for them ASAP and crack them on I think. Shame though, the aluline alloys look sick!

So nothing is making my decision easier! Spend a bit more and get some sweet wheels that are 15s which I prefer or save a bit and put the ones I have one which are 16s that I dont like as much but still like!..
