  1. I miss mine already and i see it on my drive every day.. completely topless apart from a rag over the front end.. poor thing is helpless

Cant wait until next weekend and its finally all back together, hopefully my Blitz intake will turn up tomorrow or Wednesday really really looking forward to getting it on the road, actually so excited! when driving back with it in novemeber it got sooo many looks on the motorway.. mad thinking its only done 200 miles in 3 month! poor thing is sat out in the dark and rain on axle stands
  3. So had a rather successful weekend with a close friend this weekend, Managed to get my apex type 2 front mount fitted! With neither of us having any experience on a Silvia OR a turbo car, we were in the dark with this one! Starting at 10am and finishing at half 5, outside in the cold with a head torch thing, ran into many problems, took us over 2 hours alone to get the front bumper off. problems getting just 1 side light out (just 1?), had to fabricate 2 small brackers (maybe 10cm by 2cm) <-- took 45 mins and broke 3 drill bits??? Not currently finished as we ran out of light, its all fitted but have had to purchase a new intake as i cant run the stock airbox as the piping is in the way! (great excuse ) have still got to refit the wheels, remount the horn(s), re-fit bumper sidelights and headlights. soooooo the car is sat on the drive for a week on axle stands. car is idling very lumpy as too much air too so not really been able to test it out but doesn't seem to be any leaks or anything as of yet have also added a photos of when it was washed on Saturday and of the dash, still not finished hopefully have it done next weekend

  5. Correct it is Midnight Blue, only 3.3% of silvia's made in 1998 were Midnight Blue so becoming a rare colour! Actually have done something i didnt tell you all, have taken out the wooden dash covers and is currently sat in my utility ready for a coat of laquer after being sprayed black. so will be gloss black dash instead of the vile wood. made me feel old! Thanks for all the positive comments, gives me even more motivation (PS, what would be the chances of me getting on your stand with this motor?) CLIO EXHAUST IS BLOWING SOUNDS SICK ---- literally. it sounds dog awful.
  6. Quick update, done sweet f**k all!! hopefully on the road next month! missed out on an exhaust, gutted. maybe down to solid fab march/april kinda time

Am fully aware, it sends excess gas back through the turbo, have read up about it ALOT, and it takes a good long while for it to do any real damage to the turbo, and also have plans for a bigger turbo further down the line. also a replacement stock turbo doesn't cost alot at all due to the amount of 200's that get broke for parts
  8. Got home last night to my 2nd hand Apex type 2 FMIC. been pressure tested to 2bar so perfect for what i want it for at the moment and a horrible Baileys BOV. coming straight off and bung it!! flutter baby!

  10. @ krzys; I'm concidering a carpark trip once i'm driving it properly into next year a bit, but its my pride and joy at the moment and dont want to damage it! @Grant; Yeah to be honest i was sad to see it go but unfortunately it would have only taken more and more money and what id have wanted out of it would have cost way more than i could have thrown at it. as for why i sold the Integra... lets put it this way, i'm still alive, that, and it had rusty arches, smoked all the time and a giant dent from an asda trolley (Y). It was beyond repair unfortunately, would have cost me about 3000+ to set it right, then id still have been left with a 130k b18c6. @roj; yeah i completely agree. i think i got a steal for what it is at the price i payed!

Hey there guys, have heard really good things about this forum from a few of my close friends (@Shafzzz + @Roj) and was given a very warm welcome from you guys at Japfest 2 this year after such a rush and a mess-up from another group, so thought id chuck up a build thread over here for you guys to see.
