  1. Thanks, yeah im trying to think of stuff that hasn't been done before just to mix it up abit.
  2. Small update, bit of modding at work on fridaywith the radiator bracket and a/c rad brackets. Was going to paint them but thats been done to death, so a little change Makes a nice little subtle difference, next is the fan relay bracket and expansion tank bracket.
  3. Thats good and its all your milage, so least you know what its done over that span.
  4. Nah looks good yours.... 54k thats a good mileage to start with, whats it on now? Yeah personally i think these mb's still hold their own in terms of looks with age, kinda like me haha
  5. Thanks matey, I want to get it to a nice decent daily and do some nice mods along the way.
  6. Gave the wiper arms a little paint, look better now.
  7. Thanks fellas its the little things sometimes that make the big difference. Ive located a bonnet and passenger wing for£45 so gonna get them this week hopefully. Started some mods this week in work, pics to follow soon.
  8. Started doing the interior plastics black, before i tackle the sagging headlining and replace it with black material Pictures of before and with primer
  9. Thanks mate,if i can save money i will no matter how small
  10. Made a couple of headlight washer jet retaining clips at work today, the originals were pretty corroded so had to be done and they fit spot on, saved myself a few quid and got paid for the pleasure
  11. Update. Tank cleaned up and painted , new fuel hose fitted. Put it back on the car,my homemade tank strap hangers/securing bolts worked perfect and no petrol leaking!!!! Result well happy.
  12. Tank out! found the leak, corroded feed pipe. As a quick fix, I'll repair with a high pressure rubber fuel hose until I come across a decent fuel pump at the breakers and by the looks of it a decent fuel tank which i know are hard to come by,in the mean time i will clean and paint this one for now. I also made some new tank strap securing bolts/hangers, the originals couldn't be used again they were scrap.
