Hi, I don't know whether anything has changed since this thread...

I think that basically you're looking for one from an mb6, or from an MG ZS for one that will just bolt on without needing to be modified.

hi i have a rear arb from an mb near me, is it worth installing? does it improve the safety and handeling of the car that much?

    thanks

  2. hi good fellas, to remove the shifter boot i do need to remove the center console?

i tried to search if someone talked abut it but couldn t find for our cars, i do found in youtube lots for other similar cars i believe ek, us civic's and the center console is different.

    thanks in advance

  3. Hi Dave the 50 profile looks just perfect i dont want to lower the suspensivo cause its top expensive and i would be scraping all the time so now that i have seen how it looks with the 16 inch and the 50 profile i know what i have to look for, thanks Dave.

I read  on the post about interchangable parts that the ET can be up to 45, the ET os the with of the mounting where the rim meets the hub, right? If its for instance 40 works the same as a 45 bit the wheel protude more from the body of the car?

    Thanks and be safe

    Hi There!

Aftermarket bumpers were available for these during the 90's early noughties, but not sure what (if any) are available now. Most likely they would be available in Germany I think, deffo not available inn the UK now. Options would be the OEM VTi front spolier/lip or the VTiS front spolier/lip, both of which are available 2nd hand.

Door handles wise, is it the handles inside or outside the car that are coming out?

Wheels wise, there have been a few members who have gone up to 17 inch, but think this is about the biggest you could go without modifying other areas. The wheel offest will also play a big part in what fits, along with the width of the rim (7J, 7.5J, 8J, etc)

Hi Dave so i want  a 16" wheel what "j" and "et" range shuld be used, and what you think fits best without having to use spacers and nothing like that.

Alsp the tyres are normally what size with 16" wheels height wise, are 195/45 to wide? is the height of 45 good to keep speedometer etc in good balance?

thanks and srry to jump in others post

  7. hi there nice seats, i also have that metal door sills i found incredibly lucky in Portugal, although the driver side one was a bit busted but all inall are acceptable and man they look nice.

Good ingenuity adapting the armrest, that is a proper armrest not just a storage space like the oem one, neat. is this from any accord of wich years?

    cheers

Those metal clips are quite the bother. I broke most of them off, and just glued the strip back in afterwards.

hi Gamrid , glued like in permanently or some type of double tape?

i wanted to be able to take em out later if i need to.

But I do recall having to take the complete dashboard out to remove heater box to get at the matrix. How could I forget it

hi do you have the part number for the heater matrix mate?

    thanks

    AHH.

    Do you have an example?

There usually stuck on with a sticky foam strip. Spire clips and screws in the wheel area. And spire clips on the underside to fix to the bumper.

    Similar to this.

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121622652392

Hi i did manage to get one example from my own car cause the splash guard uses the same clips and looks exatly like the ones you Said, 'spire clips".

I took pictures of the clips and the bumper holes, where these clips Will attach to, maybe it will help someone else.

Gonna try to find them locally in an hardware store if not maybe i have to go with NUTS and bolts with some washers but i sure prefer the clips if i can find them.

    Thanks

  13. Hi folks i have bought rover 400 door cards because mine are sagging and the back one is damaged, i like the rover ones better, because they have the trim all around the interior, and i like the look of it, just might wrap the trim but not sure in what color/effect would suit best on the long run.

Now i wanted opinions on what color/type of fabric will suit best for my door cards, later ill be doing the headliner too but for now its just the doors.pics would be awesome

Also opinion in which wrap should be used for the trim, if anybody has some custom interior i would love to see pictures. Mb6 has carbon inserts, anyone can show me how it is the look? i wonder if it will make the car fill too dark inside with the carbon...i got this new projects but i really need second opinions cause they will be somewhat permanent changes.

    be safe, peace out

  14. Hi there i believe the rose colour is from the other car, and it may be possible to remove it polishing, had the same but in the back and i was able to use elbow grease and removed it all, just the dent remained there.

Its a bummer to arrive at your car and give him that look... then to realize it is "hurt"... is painful i feel for you mate.

  15. Dave yes it helped enlightenment wise thanks

sorry for mention the somewhat liberty we now enjoy in Portugal forgetting completely the majority of people here are from Britain... my bad!but then you will be there soon!

Never heard about that new fuel, i believe in Portugal we don't have it but i can be wrong, maybe its from the American market and has been imported?just a guess

Just bought an si oem front splitter or skirt not sure wich is correct , just to find out it needs some kind of special clips or screws that i wasn't aware of and i dont even know what to look for cause i have no ideia how they are. Already tried to google and ebay it, but again i dont know what i really need so its a bummer to find hehe.

Any help in enlighten me about those elusive clips is much appreciated.

    be safe, be gentle

    peace out

  16. Hi folks everyone deconfined and happier? :)

I want to ask which type of gasoline was recommended by honda at the time the car was put together...i wonder if its 95 octane or 98... or doesnt hurt using any of these?

Another thing, please tell me the weight of the aerodeck.

    thanks in advance.

My deck came with 15s, but I've got 17s on and still have 2.2 at the front.

The current accord came with came with 17s, but the last one had 16s and I'm sure the sticker was the same.  The accord is a much heavier beast though

Ok i get it, the most important thing in calculating a tyre pressure is the weight of the car not the wheels.

    thanks dr.broon

  18. i see your car is the same has mine just has the vti lip...my bad!

Forgot to mention another thing i did, you can paint the grill any color, i painted mine black but used plasti dip in case i want to change the look back for stock.I didn't painted the symbol i like the chrome.

what you mean the door is weak? you can change the pin and busings of the hinge i will do that somewhere in the future cause my drivers door is sagging just a bit and i already diagnose a bad bottom bushing.

    peace out
