Hey all

Im just here to ask a simple question to you all im currently in

transaction of buying a Hondata s300 v3 p28 ecu for my MB6

I want to know if there is anything else i should ask before

purchase or anything like that?

He says it has all the pwn components added which i have no

clue of its meaning?

Are they easily accessible with a normal diagnostics machine

for trouble code and stuff?

When im fitting it any precautions i should take? I dont really

do alot of electrical work myself i usually work on older cars

or just engine components

Cheers!

Well long as it's functioning correctly you'll be all good. Real top of the range bit of kit.

P28 won't be able to control your iabs as it is. But not the end of the world and can add components to operate iabs if needed.

Pwm or pulse width modulation opponents are there for accurate electronic boost control. So its all ready for turbo time.

ahh right it sounds alright to me turbo is along time away

for me on this wage cry.gif1

The ecu is costing £550? is that reasonable?

I'm still deciding if I really want it since I've not got plans for

turbo in the near future

I'll be honest with you dude. If money's a lil tight and your not planning a huge build.

It's a lot of Dow to throw at an ecu.

A standard P28 socketed will give you more than enough scope to tune a n/a car or even a smaller budget boost car.

Chrome is surprisingly good.

A socketed P28 probably cost around 130 quid from htune
