Rookie88
I have a mb6 which I know is 4x114.3 but my question is will a set of 16" wheels with a et of 10 and the fronts 8j n rears are 9j fit with out any rubbing issues? Because a et of 10 is fairly low :/
Chandler
you'll need camber arms and you'll need to get the rear arches rolled.i'm running 16x9 ET 15 on the back, that's with camber, rolled arches and a small bit of Tyre stretch, nothing major Tyre stretch go onto my thread for more pictures
Rookie88
Ok mate, thanks for the advice I'll properly give them a miss tbh I don't fancy rolling the arches as iv just had the car resprayed, iv got my eye on another set now some 8j with et38, that should be a better fit but going to wait till I get the car back and I'll measure if they will fit or not. Chandler
ah nice, the front's are 16x8 et25 and fit fine with a little bit of scrubbing the arch because i'm low
Rookie88
Should be ok then being a et of 38, yeah yours does look lovley slamed with abit of poke
KiNK43
I think you will need some negative camber or a roll for 8j et38. I used to have 16x7 et40 and they didn't rub but literally a couple of mm from arch
Rookie88
Oh really :/ gutted. Will have to look into this, cheers mate
KiNK43
Was wounded. I put the mb6 Hub's onto my eg. Then put the same 16x7 et40 wheels on. And serious they come up flush with the wheel arch on the eg and scrubbed like mad But more relevant to you.. they were perfect fit on mb6. Chandler
best thing to do mate is get that horrible rear arch lip rolled so it doesn't stick out
