20160416_111343.jpg?dl=0Ok guys riddle me this. ....

So I've got a replacement belt and was looking in the bay to see how accessible it is when I noticed something was missing.

What is it? what's it for and why has my car not died without it?

P.s. I'm not a mechanic in any shape or form and I only own a jack and a Halfords tool box. How easy is it to change the alternator belt?

Car is 1999 MB6 B18C4

Any help at all would be much appreciated!

Hi Chris. That looks like your air con belt is missing mate. Has the air con been removed from the car, as I know a lot of owners have done this in the past in the quest for weight saving. You should have your normal radiator on the left (when standing in front of the car looking into the engine bay) and the air con one is a smaller one to the left.

If you PM me your email address I'll look into the activation email problem and get that sorted for you. Make sure it's the same email address you registered with
