digitalfaze
would this be suitable for the rebuild and mostly everything i need?http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/B18-Forged-Piston ... 256wt_1144
tontvti
That advert is confusing? Is that just for pistons or the worlds cheapest stroker kit? Gotboost tuning is nearby down there so it could be mapped on a dyno if you had it built, hmmmm......

digitalfaze
its a place called realstreetperformance.com they look reputable, i can afford to buy the parts at that price then pay for the rebuild in one go once parts are bought, but this is me just looking till i get the compression test done.Could i ask how long an engine will last while its got piston ring problem, or even valve seals? SteveMB6
it will last forever....well maybe not forever but a long long time, is just a bit of wear that lets some oil through, if its not burning too much oil there is no big rush, just keep it topped up before it gets sorted. Mine was blowing blue smoke for 5k miles before i done the seals.
vtec_freak
i done almost 15k on mine with it smoking because im an idiot or should i say was an idiot and didnt no about the seals..it will keep goin for ages but will eventually break, aslong as u keep an eye on the oil levels ul be alright for a while
