syder
nice job, did they powder coat it or is it sprayed???Also what power are you hoping in getting? obviously high comp pistons?? Sorry for the questions but youve had your block sleeved, how much did that set you back?? And last one, what head work are you doing??They sprayed it with a lacquer on top Hoping around 300 bhp They .5 over-bored it , as for the cost they are charging me £1000 , that was for a total strip down to check every part to see what the problem was with the engine and then rebore , everything cleaned , bits painted , everything rebuilt and the work of the rebuild is guarantied for 1 year , forgot , the engine has been fully balanced aswell ,The head is going to have buddy club spec 3 cams , all the springs/caps and valve stems are mint so not going to replace them for the moment , going have a skunk 2 pro series intake manifold , and 70mm BBK throttle body , have already got a torque technique exhaust system 4-2-1 , buddy club cam pulleys , magnecor leads . cal
b18 nasp @ 300hp is nigh on impossible unless your going to run some serious comp and race fuel. even then you got a job on your hands. best ive seen was a B20 256hp
syder
Did say hoping for around 300 bhp , buddy club say the cams are dyno tested to give you 237 bhp and 218lb/ft torque on the B18 , so thats a start
