craigb Posted June 28, 2009 Share Posted June 28, 2009 hi all i have a 99 vti mb6 and ive got a problem where when the car is warmed up it tries to cut out at junctions with the revs bouncing from 1500 down to 200, it also happens if im stationary and just blip the throttle but again only when warmed upplease can anyone help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

jalesi2001 Posted June 28, 2009 Share Posted June 28, 2009 Yeah, does sound like a sticky/ partly siezed idle control valve. Try removing it and cleaning it with brake cleaner or carb cleaner, if it dont work you may need a new one im afraid. Is the engine management light on?
