syder
About two weeks ago i advanced the timing on my B18C4 engine on my aerodeck VTI and i found the response a bit quicker in the bottom and mid range , as for the fuel consumption I've not noticed any difference , has anybody else found this to be same
Guest
i doubt it will change. you have advanced the timing thus getting a better fuel burn so if anything you would get better mileage. how many degrees did you advance it?
syder
All the way , no harm is there
Guest
should have only been 2-3 degrees. mind and use vpower or other premium fuel now.

oli13a
Is it just twisting the dizzy? I was going to do it on my d16 but it would only turn towards the back off the car which is retarding it (correct me if im wrong).

lacos
the dizzy is on the left side as you look at the engine (drivers side) so moving it back advances the timing ok mate
