Oil, some basic advice.

I always use 10w40 as that is Hondas recommendation and I don't use a drop of oil between changes.

 

It would be worth trying 5w40 in yours as it is quite a low miler.

It's a semi, Mobil Super something or other they keep changing the name.

 

I find it's a decent oil and doesn't break the bank as I change every 3k I don't really want to be paying £40-50 each time.

Motul semi 10/40 for me or Mobil super S or whatever its called now. Regular changes are the key to a happy B/D series. 

 

Motulgear in the 'box too (solved a few problems but still a little crabby to get into reverse when cold).
