philgor Posted September 7, 2011 Share Posted September 7, 2011 thay have got to be done up bloody tight, i swaped the steel sealing ring's with copper one's (same one's i use for the sump plug), as i could't get it tight enough with the steel one's as mine pissed fuel out all over my boss's bike 4ft away.as for the bottom one just make sure that the mating surface's are smooth and don't have any debries in/on them and do that fooking tight aswell!! johngreen537 Posted September 8, 2011 Share Posted September 8, 2011 If you are leaking fuel from the filter mate, your 43 code could be for fuel pressure as there will be a loss at the filter.
