shakey Posted December 12, 2010 Share Posted December 12, 2010 Hi guys new to this forum didn't realize we had this forum awesome site by the way, recently while driving the engine management light comes on the then car cuts out you start the car again and it fires up and is alrite for a day or two but yesterday it totally die a would not fire up so had it towed home by RAC he said it could be the Ignition Module, battery got flat where i tried starting it when i broke down, so charged the battery fired the car up and its running again apart from the srs light is staying on now took it for a drive and did exactly the same engine management light came then died started the car up again ok drove 100 yards cut out again got it going again got back home does this sound like the Ignition Module or another electrical problem as the SRS light staying on now as well any help very much appreciated Cheers . KiNK43 Posted December 12, 2010 Share Posted December 12, 2010 id be inclined to say crank position sensor faulty.considering it gets running then cuts out.
