Solidtuned
Check out honda-tech.com . Most of these guys are in the US, but there are always people on and they really know their Hondas/Acura's. The B18C4 is pretty much identical to the B18C1 found in the US Acura Integra GSR's. You can find some good info on that website, as 1 out of every 10 people in the US is a Honda tuner. Just kidding, but close enough.
B18NCHI
Vtec is 6 k dudes dual flaps adjust at 4500/4600! best way to prove point is to pull off the vacum pipe for the controll unit and block it off. then warm car up and blast down the road. you will here no change at 4500/4600 rpm and vtec at 6000! for real! lol
civicturbo79
You have it the wrong way around , the vtec on a b18c4 is 4500 rpm , pull the wire off the vtec solenoid and see what happens , im 100 % on this from when i fitted my vtec controller i could only control the 4500 rpm change as that is controlled by the ecu and the vtec solenoid. Rich.
bepilot
yes, i have fitted a vtec light too and what civicturbo79 says is right.I was also sceptical in the beginning, we also blocked off the IABs but as the ECU doesn't know about that, you'll have false sensations - that's why I installed the light.http://www.team-integra.net/sections/ar ... icleID=
